Always store your jewelry in cloth bags or jewelry boxes designed to protect jewelry.

Clean your diamonds and most gemstones in warm, soapy water with a soft toothbrush or with Buchwald Jewelers cleaning solution. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Opals and pearls require special handling and we recommend cleaning by a professional.

To keep your diamonds sparkling, always remove your jewelry before using bath, hair, and perfume products.  Remove your jewelry or wear gloves for cleaning and gardening.

Gemstones, such as opals, can be sensitive to extreme temperature changes.   Use caution when handling cold items, in snow, when using hair dryers, etc.
